    Default Winter-Maps

hi, i'm just curious if there is an option to convert already existing maps into snowy landmasses because i'm a big fan of those! (: i've spend some time reading some editor-guides and some wiki but i didn't got any result. in the map .txt there is no such option. my thinking is, it can only be chosen when you create the map?

but maybe there is a way. that would be a great opportunity to play the campaign again. maybe for the 15th time! (:

and sorry for the English. it's not my native language.

    greetings.

Yes there is. In the ADiKtEd editor, load the map, press Ctrl+E and select 'Winter' from the 7 available texture sets and save the map. In the 'official' editor load the map and simply keep pressing 't' until you get the winter texture.

It must be done with an editor, it cannot be done through the script.

    Edit: Also see the manual.

thanks a lot for that answer. it will help me a lot! :) i've also had that editor installed already. but there is a problem when loading maps. error: cannot open file when loading "\levels\map00001.slb"

i wasn't able to find a solution by myself...

edit: okay i've found the solution. i was changing the folder path of my dungeon keeper in the adikted map.ini file. now it seems to work!

You're welcome. I like the winter maps as well, as a welcome change but wouldn't care much for all maps to be winter themed.
