Sry, edited my post. i forgotten the 32bit thing..

Only other programs wich are running.. Steam and Origin. Closed both. Same issues.

I closed this Nvidia Geforce Experience thing.. Now it crashed after the menu.

I try it with GDB again and see, what it tells us.

alright. game keeps black after menu. No crash since 2min..
    gdb says:
Program recieved signal SIGSEGV. Segmentation fault.
    0x6812a21b in SDL_Flip <> from C:\Program Files (x86)\KeeperFX\SDL.dll

oh.. didn't know the alt+r thing.. meh, now i can't try it cause the game crashes.. without these Nvidia Geforce Experience thing..

Ok, perhaps that means something to Mefisto.
Also, you said if you run the game in windib without the debugger it freezes, also share the KeeperFX log file when that happens.

Until then, your video driver seems to impact this, so rolling back the driver is something to give a shot,... (Open device manager, under display adapters open the properties of your video card, and on the 'driver' tab click 'Roll Back Driver'.)

And in windowed mode, try pressing Alt+R to see if you get a bigger window.

Edit: Also strange the debugger prevents the game from crashing now you have your Geforce application closed. My guess is if you type 'bt' in the console it says there is no stack trace,...
To try windowed mode you could restart the geforce application, if you don't know how you can restart your computer.

okay.. after punshing my keyboard and getting really frustratet..

i insert the keeperFX log from the windib crash issue later. too frustrated for it now.. -.-

i made the driver rollback like you told me. But the Nvidia Geforce Experience thing is in the tray again.. It says that the newest driver is installed.. so.. what ever..

But i played with the resolutions a bit..
now i can play in fullscreen (No force driver!) with some new issues..
Menu, Movies and Failure resolution - 1024x768x32.
i can't put the Menu resolution higher than this. Otherwise, i get this lovely error:
    "Setting up game failed.
This error in 'LbBullfrogMain' makes the program unable to continue.
    See 'keeperfx.log' for details."

    KeeperF.log:

    Spoiler

Oh, and the Map where i choose the level of the campaign looks deformed..

And the menu position is.. meh.. left upper corner in 1024x768..

    EDIT:
    New success!
i set the Menu Res to 640x480x32. Now the Menu is fine, the Level selection after campaign selection is perfect.
    Game runs. No crashes.
Movie, Failure set to 1024x768x32 and In-game resolution to my Desktop default 1366x768x32.

Only thing that really annoys me: the language changes from time to time if you switch often the resolution.. from germany to italy.. then to dutch.. dafuq?
And if you switch between Window and fullscreen, you can only check 1x an ingame resolution. after choosing one, you can't choose another one without closing the window and open it again.
    Nothing really important, i know^^

Well.. we will see this day if there come any crashes or freezes.. i will test it later.. its 03:20am here and i get very sleepy.. (well.. 04:46am after last edit.. good night everybody!)
Only issue i can see for now, the game looks a little stretched at the wide. But i think its the Widescreen resolution wich produce this issue.

oh and btw, the ALT+R thing works fine^^

    EDIT²:
Stretching Issue fixed. Set the In-Game solution to 1280x1024x32 works fine.
Movie Resolution set to 640x480x32. I love the Intro

So, in short, with the video drivers rolled back, and ingame resolutions set to 4:3 all your problems are solved?
Good, hope it is stable and you can now start to enjoy the game again.

And also in full screen mode you can change the resolution with Alt+R.
If you make the config file like this you can switch between the 3 resolutions:
    Code:
    INGAME_RES=640x480x32 1024x768x32 1280x1024x32
That language changes when you change resolution is strange, but whatever, once you've picked a resolution no need to change anymore. I've never seen it.

Don't know if the Rollback was the thing cause my driver version didn't change but hey, it works!

Uhm.. its the Failure Resolution.. if i set it to 320x200x32, the game crashes after level choosing. o_o
If i set it to 1024x768x32, everything is fine.

    Thank you

    EDIT:
Uff, its hard to be bad..

    Again. Freezed.
I use GDB and look, if it freezes again..

Too bad, I'm out of ideas, hopefully Mefisto can help further.

You could try updating KeeperFX to the latest nightly, but I don't think there have been any fixes that are related to your issue.

hmm and again, if i use GDB, no freezes or crashes.. could be the parameters i use with GDB.. i ceep an eye on it and report later.

    EDIT:
Okay, i keep running DK with the debugger.. only way to play the game freeze-free.
Parameters are not the reason. tried it without GDB and same parameters like with GDB. Still freezing..

    EDIT²:
Okay, after minimzing the game, it freezed.
    GDB gives me this code:
    Inferior 1 <process 6556> exited with code 031777777777]

after typing bt GDB sayd "No stack."
    mh..
