    Default !.7 to older patch?

    Hello all,

I recently bought DK2 on gog as i was unable to find my original retail disk, as i am sure you are aware this version is bundled with 1.7 pre installed.
I was very interested in the custom campaigns available here but none seem to be compatible with 1.7.

Is there a way to revert this to an older version?

This is a good topic about the patches, it gives this information:

I do believe that GIM can be used with the GOG release, which has the 1.51 AI in version 1.7. An other alternative would be to simply track down an old version of the game.

Thanks for the info. GIM has fixed issues i was having with the game running badly.

Pity that the last official patch for this great game was written with a hammer and keyboard,
Still thanks to the hard work of true fans of the series we can still enjoy a fixed up version.

You're welcome. In all fairness, the rest of the game was made the same way and just about every patch broke something that was more important than the things they fixed with it.
