    Rob, The Death Knight

The constant banging of hammer against steel, Rob admires his rusty craftsmanship over the forming weapon. He sets one part of the finished weapon to cool, as he gets some more metal and starts to form it into a battleaxe. Time passes as Rob completes the battleaxe part, he notices he has some leftover metal from his work. He looks at his old broken helmet, Rob sets the battleaxe part to cool as he moves his helmet to the anvil. He breaks it down, he obviously won't miss the 'monster face' design on it, he'll need something that'll cover his face and hide the fact he is undead to the common enemy. Perhaps he'll even fool that one black knight from before, and cut her head off from her shoulders.

Oh yesss... The thought made Rob smile, imagining the cut-off scream and placing her skull among his collection. Delightful.
Rob shakes his head, focusing on finishing his work. He'll want to keep some of the horns, two on the front and back instead of the sides.

    *CLANG CLANG*

He'll want to hide his lower jaw and infected eye but leave enough room to at least see through and be easy enough to put on. Last thing he needs is for the helmet to slowly pluck away his glorious long hair.

    *CLANG CLANG BANG*

Rob stops, looking over the piping hot helmet before he sets it to cool. Time to finish the weapon. He takes the 'unfinished' handles of each, and attaches the two together with some more metal. Wait for it... Rob grabs the heavy weapon as he fiddles with the middle...

    *Click*

The weapon detached, leaving Rob with a battleaxe and a sword. He tries to reattach it... With the same click, the weapons were now attached. With a proud grin, Rob places the weapon down and puts on his cooled helmet. He finished his personal work, as he picks up his strange weapon and hoists the axe-end over his shoulder. It was then he heard Tesonu speak.

"I have another small volunteer mission for those seeking a little... distraction. I need a few melee fighters and spell casters, maybe one healer. Not too many now as I do not wish to overcommit on dealing with this small threat. Anyone extra can participate in a little arena match, perhaps."

Time to test his new weapon, either on tentacle scales or comrade flesh, Rob was just too eager.

"Tesonu!" Rob roared, he wouldn't be getting his attention otherwise, "Let me gorge my new weapon in blood, so that I may become strong enough to rip that female black knight to pieces!" Perhaps Rob was going overboard, the thought again was making him start to laugh uncontrollably. It was a sickening laugh, a deep voice with a rasp. It would be a few minutes before Rob finally stopped to 'catch his breath'. He didn't really need to breathe, but his undead vocal cords could only handle so much.

Nalina finally returns to the Lair, exhausted from her trip. She heaves heavily, suffering from a few Tentacle wounds. They managed to scratch her a bit with the ends of their tentacles, but the worst injury done to her is a small impalement when Nalina momentarily let her guard down. It didn't strike at any critical point of her body, but it hurt quite a bit nevertheless. For the most part, the Tentacles proved to be easy opponent; they're both squishy and fight far too poorly with the advantage of only numbers. Still, there was one opponent who proved to have some noticeable skill. He surprised Nalina with a casting of Freeze; afterwards he impaled her but the ice partially blocked him from doing much work on her. The Tentacle was then engaged and defeated by the Black Knight in their group, who Nalina remembered as Tali.

Nalina takes another deep breath. She suddenly hears Tesonu's voice as he makes an announcement: asking for volunteers in another combat based mission. As a War Maiden, Nalina relishes the challenge and seeks to join, but she is forced to acknowledge the fact that she's in no condition to fight. Weary and injured from the fight, Nalina knows that what she needs now is a rest in the Lair. By the time she wakes, it'll probably be too late to participate. How disappointing! Nalina wonders what she'll do, but she decides to figure it out after her sleep.

Nalina puts her gear away by her Lair then slowly crawls into bed. She sighs, recalling her battle experience and thinking of what she could learn to better improve. She closes her eyes, trying to fall asleep but sadly she cannot quite make it there. Her mind is too active and her body still barely able as she relives the battle over and over again.

    Mesa
    The Spirit of Fire

Having returned from the dungeon with the rest of the escort team, Mesa felt positively drained. The Spirit within him allowed him to summon forth an ungodly amount of fireballs, but every one he lobbed at his enemies took its toll on the Ghost. The battles were not incredibly difficult, as he had his allies protecting him more often than not, but he was caught out a couple of times by the Tentacles who countered him with shards of ice. Still, he was not critically wounded by any of them, allowing him to continues covering his allies with his fireballs until the mission's end. He even managed to become completely invisible at one point, when he dodged the ranged attack of a Tentacle, which was a bit of a surprise to himself. Eventually though, he came to the conclusion that it was normal for a Ghost to do that when they get stronger.

It actually felt quite good to be fighting and helping others out again... Mesa just hoped his performance in the mission would make an impression of his usefulness on Tesonu, but he'd just have to see.

Saying goodbye to the group and leaving them, Mesa headed for the Lair, passing creatures here and there but not particularly noting any of them. As he entered the Lair, the Ghost drifted over to his lair and was drawn inside it, allowing him to rest his ghostly form.

Karla remains strapped tightly to the torture table, taking slow and steady breaths while trying to collect herself. Turok watches her intensely, uncertain of his sister's condition. Suddenly a loud, commanding, and furious voice echos throughout the the Prison Chambers, "Time's up!" Deimoria steps toward the two Tentacles with a look of pure authority, something she's only able to do after calming down a bit from her earlier fury. Still, she cannot deny her lingering feelings of frustration despite her attempts to bury them deep. If there is ever a bad time to test her patience, it is now.

"Can yo-" Turok attempts to plea but Deimoria immediately cuts him off with a violent tone, "No. I already told you my condition. Your time is up. Tell me what my master wants to know or I'll take things to the next level: by cutting off one of her tentacles." Turok seems to hesitate upon hearing the last bit but decides to comply regardless as he hisses, "As... you wish..." "Still quite edgy I see," Demorlia teases playfully. Sick and tired of it, Deimoria swiftly turns and backhands her sister in one swift motion. The two have a moment of silence as they give the other equally unpleasant looks; Deimoria shows her anger while Demorlia has a perplexed expression of surprise and disgust.

Deimoria finally turns away and looks back at Turok. "Speak!" she commands in a terrifying shout. Turok looks down for a moment, appearing to still retain some of his foolish stubbornness. Having waited long enough, Deimoria immediately turns and slaps Karla across her face with her whip, causing her to cry out. "Karla! Wait! I thought..." "Why are you surprised!?" Deimoria questions, "I told you already what is required, and yet still you want to remain quiet! Do you think I have time for your stupid little games!? If this is how you wish to play, then fine by me! I'll just let loose on this pathetic creature over here!"

Deimoria continues to lash out on Karla without remorse; hearing her cry with every strike makes her smile with mad satisfaction. No more of these stupid people and their damn, irritating stubbornness. In this torture, there is only one thing: suffering for the ones who anger her so. There is something so enjoyable and satisfying in it all: simplicity. Deimoria is ever so tired of people playing their stupid mind games or constantly holding back their true nature and remaining deceitful. Why can't they just be more straightforward like her instead of wasting her time so!?

"Stop!" Turok shouts in a panicked voice after hearing his sister scream, "I'll talk! I promise!" Even hearing these words loud and clear, Deimoria continues to go about her business and strikes Karla repeatedly. "You keep saying that, but it's never true! I'll stop right when you start talking! So go ahead, stop holding back!" Deimoria retorts before dissolving into mad laughter. She can't get enough of this. It's just so precious! All so completely ridiculous! This stupid Tentacle is sitting back as his dear sister is brutally tortured before him; all so that he can withhold the secrets of his dead father and fallen people.

At that moment, another voice suddenly echos throughout the Prison Chambers, "Karla! Stop torturing her!" Looking through the corner of her eye, Deimoria sees a Tentacle charging towards her. Deimoria suddenly felt a spike of anger, infuriated by everything about the arrival of this Tentacle: his timing, his interference, and the fact that he dares to try and challenge her authority. With another swift motion and with the command of all her newborn fury, Deimoria turns and strikes the Tentacle across the face with her whip. Beyond rage, she immediately demands answers from him, "Who the hell are you to intervene here!?"

Letting out a hiss as he recovers from the whip strik, the Tentacle glares at the Dark Mistress. He growls, slowly stepping back to get out of the whip's range, "I am Terrence, former member of the Tentacle Tribe, and I demand to know what the hell is going on here." "Oh, so you're associated with the Tentacle Tribe then?" Deimoria asks, suddenly growing a devilish smile. From his prison cell, Turok shouts at the newly arriving Tentacle, "Terrence, you fool!" Deimoria continues with a mad look in her eyes, "Well then I'll just have to kill you to make an example."

Ignoring Turok's shouts, Terrence takes another step back and steadies himself. Keeping his gaze fixed on the Dark Mistress, the Tentacle creates an Ice Shard from the condensation in the air. "You can try, human," he growls, keeping the Shard at the ready. Having discovered the fate of his people and finding the last survivors of the Tribe being ruthlessly tortured, he has reached his own breaking point and will not hesitate to impale the Dark Mistress.

Deimoria's eye starts to twitch again; her mad and wild pleasure suddenly takes a drastic turn for the worst to form rage. Feeling more frustrated than ever after recent events, Deimoria shouts back, "I'll enjoy making you suffer for such impudence!" The Dark Mistress makes an abrupt dash forward as she simultaneously coats her whip with especially sharp thorns from her Vine Whip technique. She strikes at the hideous creature, hitting his Ice Shard and shattering it.

At that very moment, vines begin to spawn from beneath Terrence and they quickly wrap around his variance tentacles to trap him in place. Deimoria takes a quick step back in surprise, but keeps her eyes on the filthy, bastard Tentacle. Even in her rage, Deimoria still recognizes it as Entangle, a spell cast by her own twin sister. Her surprise comes from the fact that Demorlia would even bother helping her considering recent behavior.

Instead of worrying about her sister, Deimoria, instead, decides to merely take advantage of the fool Tentacle's struggle: whipping him and cutting his flesh with her thorns. She will teach him firsthand the consequences of interfering with her master's personally assigned orders, then she will kill him for it. Struggling against the vines, Terrence growls viciously at the Dark Mistresses, "Agh, let me go!" "Why would I do that!?" Deimoria questions, almost in a mocking tone, all while constantly striking at the impudent Tentacle, "So that you can keep trying to intervene?"

The whipping begins taking its toll on the Tentacle, although his anger keeps him at his struggling, and so Terrence eventually pulls one of his tentacles out of the vines. Using up more of his dwindling energy reserves, he manages to fashion yet another Ice Shard, and wastes absolutely no time to project the icy projectile in the direction of the Dark Mistresses.

Despite his constant struggle against the vines, Terrence's aim is sufficient enough to endanger Deimoria. However, his rapidly dropping strength begins to show as the projectile has very little power to it, allowing Demorlia to easily step in and save her sister with a simple swing of her mace. Neither twin looks very amused as Deimoria says aloud, "Just die already!"

At that very moment, a powerful voice suddenly booms into the Prison Chambers and echos all around.

"Ok, so what the hell is going on in here."

Deimoria takes a step back upon recognizing the speaker; nothing but shock is expressed on her face. She swallows uncomfortably before she responds surprisingly passively, "Master Tesonu... I hope I did not disturb you." Demorlia's eyes narrow in annoyance before she answers Tesonu in a casual tone, "We're merely getting rid of one who seeks to interfere with the job you assigned us." "Do not waste your power on someone so pathetic, Keeper Tesonu!" Deimoria shouts as she whips Terrence again, her voice regaining its flare, "I will take it upon myself to make him suffer! He will be an example made for this stubborn fool over here!" Deimoria makes a point towards Turok as he sits in Prison.

Terrence breathes heavily while looking down at the ground, having stopped his struggling by now. "Keeper Tesonu... I... I just wanted to protect Karla," he says weakly, shaking his head. His anger has all but dissipated with sorrow taking its place, "My people... are gone... destroyed by Tarku's madness. Karla and Turok are all I have left of the Tribe... and I do not wish for my people to go extinct." He slowly looks over at the Dark Mistresses, holding his head low, "I know you won't care for my words, but... I apologize. I should not have confronted you in the way I did."

Although taken back a bit by Terrence's sudden change of mood, Deimoria remains strongly resentful towards the Tentacle as she berates him, "So what if you're sorry? So what if you're sad!? How dare you come in here and intervene with our interrogation then apologize like that'll make it all better!" Deimoria's voice quickly starts to grow in strength as she builds up her own fury, "Not too long ago, these Tentacles were trying to kill Keeper Tesonu and every last one of his creatures! Your people are as mad as Tarku if they sought to follow him! They deserve everything coming to them! I'm not going to hold back just because it'll make you cry!"

At that moment, Demorlia releases Terrence from her Entangle spell. Deimoria immediately turns to and questions her sister, "What are you doing!?" With a serious and grim look on her face, Demorlia speaks firmly, "Enough, Deimoria. Do not waste your breath anymore on this... vermin." Demorlia eyes Terrence with a dark look of disgust as she speaks, "Return to your torture. Now."

"Yes, you go do that. I want that information."

Tesonu's Hand-of-Evil suddenly swoops down into the scene, from the ceiling, and backhands Terrence.

"And as for you, I'm going to put you to some practical use."

Deimoria watches as Tesonu plucks Terrence and pulls him away from the scene. Suddenly, she hears Turok as he idly mutters to himself, "So he went to Tesonu after all..." The Dark Mistress promptly turns and heads towards the Torture Chamber wall. She grabs the knife, which she left beside Karla, then she stabs the blue Tentacle without hesitation. When Karla cries out, Deimoria hears her brother call out her name. The Dark Mistress stares at Karla, almost blanky; she no longer feels enraged nor frustrated. By this point, Deimoria simply does not care. Perhaps her rage broke and went full circle somehow. All that seems to be on her mind now is to simply fulfill Tesonu's orders and to retrieve the information from Turok. In a way, Deimoria's sudden sense of calmness is even more terrifying than her understandable feelings of frustration.

"Now then," Deimoria starts up again, taking her time as she turns her head to look at Turok, "You will give me the information I came here to get. Right now. I am done playing games." Deimoria retains a sharp look in her eyes as she speaks. As calm as she appears to be, a careful study of her eyes reveals her own, deep, madness. For now, she seems to have some strange control over herself. However, given the right moment and the right opportunity, it is clear that she will not hesitate to brutally kill Karla and Turok both. Her eyes start to reveal her current, unstable mind set as she retains a terrifying stare towards Turok. Stepping up closer to the Prison door, he appears to be ready to talk. Perhaps now, he finally understands what it will cost him if he refuses to comply once more.

Emmra's eyes open gracefully as she wakes from a long, deep sleep. She lets out a soft moan of pleasure from the feeling of being so well rested; it's a feeling that seems so distant now. Her hand steadily moves over to the other side of the bed, searching for her sister. "Crystice?" she coos. Turning her head, Emmra feels a sudden strike of disappointment as she sees that the bed is empty save for herself. Emmra starts to perk up, thinking that Crystice must have woken up first and wanted to let her sister rest peacefully. A blissful smile forms upon Emmra's face as she quickly starts getting up. Wherever her sister may be in the dungeon, Emmra will find her.

Emmra steadily makes her way over to the Library: the place where Crystice will most likely be. She has to be slow and careful as to not disturb anyone else sleeping in the Lair. With both her and Crystice's Lairs being on the far east, the latter which she slept in, Emmra must travel quite a distance to reach the Library. There are a lot of creatures sleeping, but the Lair is also very big. Although Emmra has only been to a few dungeons when she was originally trying to find Crystice, Tesonu's Lair is still the biggest she's ever seen. Most of the creatures are spread out, making it easy for Emmra to move past them. All Emmra has to do is watch her step to avoid any tripping.

Eventually, Emmra reaches the Library entrance. She enters without any hesitation, then starts moving towards the northwest corner of the room, where Crystice would always take her before when they researched together. There, sitting against the wall with her knees bent up against herself, Emmra finds Crystice. Feeling a spurt of happiness, Emmra smiles brightly as she waltzes over to Crystice. "Crystice~!" Emmra coos, causing Crystice to suddenly look up from her book. She replies quietly, appearing a bit startled, "Oh, H-Hello Emmra. Did you just wake up?" Emmra nods happily, "Mhm! I had a good sleep~!" "That's nice to hear." Crystice replies, a small, subtle smile forming around the edge of her lips.

Staring into each other's eyes for a moment, Emmra notices that Crystice appears a bit out of focus. Normally, she has a sharp look in her eyes, although they're much softer when Crystice looks at Emmra. Now, however, she appears tired somehow, which causes Emmra to ask, "Did you sleep well? You look tired, Crystice." Emmra takes the opportunity to sit down next to her sister as Crystice answers, "I'm fine... I just... have something on my mind." Emmra isn't sure what it is, but it seems obvious to her that something is bothering Crystice. Resting her head on Crystice's shoulder, Emmra asks innocently, "Like what?"

Crystice wraps a hand around Emmra to embrace her sweetly. Emmra closes her eyes, entering a much more restful state as she waits for Crystice's answer. Whatever is bothering Crystice seems to be something that she struggles to talk about, but it almost doesn't matter to Emmra. Right now, Emmra is simply enjoying the warm love of the moment in being with Crystice like this. It is enough to make her feel happy. Emmra would stay like this forever, enjoying this sweet moment eternally if she could. Engulfed in the moment of bliss, Emmra nuzzles against Crystice as she gives her a tight hug.

"Emmra," Crystice whispers softly at last. Emmra opens her eyes and, with a warm smile, looks up to Crystice's face, "Hmm~?" Taking a deep breath, Crystice finally answers hesitantly, "I am no longer Tesonu's Battle Commander." Upon hearing this, Emmra gets off Crystice's shoulder as she asks worryingly, "H-Huh? But... why?" Closing her eyes, Crystice tries to answer in a more neutral tone, "I... gave up that position after my... poor performance in the invasion on Hannibal." "But... I thought you did really well... everyone, well, mostly everyone got out safely and we saved Admortis..." Emmra looks down for a moment as she speaks before returning her eyes to meet Crystice's, "It was just those six that Tesonu mentioned, right? It's not your fault..."

Crystice's eyes look away, trying to figure out how to word herself. She speaks again, "It's more complicated than that... We cut it too close. I made some poor decisions that led us to that situation... Only with some luck did we manage to make it out alive." Crystice closes her eyes painfully. Emmra can tell that there is something deeply bothering her that she isn't saying, but she doesn't know what it is. Emmra makes a puzzled expression as she replies, "I still think you did really good... You're the smartest person I know." A small smile forms upon Crystice's lips, but she says nothing in response.

After a brief moment of silence, Emmra returns her head to Crystice's shoulder. She takes a deep breath as she hears and feels her sister do the same in return. Feeling Crystice do something so quiet and peaceful is enough to put Emmra to rest, despite how she felt moments ago. Emmra gently closes her eyes again and, without thinking, whispers softly, "I still love you, Crystice." Emmra can feel Crystice caress the side of her face as she hears her loving voice, "I know you do. I love you just as much." Emmra cannot describe the happiness she feels to hear Crystice say such words. Being with Crystice like this makes Emmra's heart sing endlessly; she is her everything.

    Islika

Islika spent minutes examining unused torture tables, becoming impatient as she waited for the other two dark mistresses to finish their business... It was then she saw a tentacle enter the torture chamber, and confront the mistresses. She backed away as she watched them fight, it wasn't long till the ally tentacle was subdued and was about to be finished off by a dark mistress. She hears Tesonu's voice, as he stops the fighting and she quietly listens to the creatures tell their stories to Tesonu.

She can feel for the tentacle's motivations, despite what he did earlier, but watches as the tentacle is slapped and removed from sight. The whole scene left a foul taste in her mind, the screaming from the female tentacle being tortured again didn't help. She stares at the two mistresses, feeling nothing but fear from them, before turning and leaving the Torture Chamber.

Islika was still antsy, but she would feel much better if there were no other allied creatures in there to watch her. Islika decides to resume training, as she re-enters the training room and returns to the exact same training dummy she was training on before. I'm back... She thought, as she quickly slashes at the training dummy with her claws once again... She hears Tesonu's call for volunteering creatures for a mission, but Islika tuned it out. She was no fighter...

    Methras

Methras and Atrocya stared at each other for minutes on end, Methras has been constantly taunting about her lack of freedom and finding her true purpose in life... It would be after so many taunts, that Methras gotten bored and ran out of taunts. She places the coin on her thumbs, and flicks it up in the air... Before one of her spidery-limbs smacks it and sends it flying towards the bar, the coin landing in front of the Barkeeper Imp. "Well, that's enough taunts for now, have fun with your job Atrocya." Methras says one last time before she flies up and leaves the Casino.

Methras shakes her webby mutated wings, as she ponders on what to do next after curing herself of boredom. She smiles just by remembering a few old taunts she did before, but soon her mind starts to wildly speculate. What if it was her in that situation, what if she failed her job and was forced into such a position? Methras recalls her last time in battle, only able to fire webs at the invading enemies as they nearly overran them. Methras crosses her arms, the spidery limbs crossing theirs as well, as Methras comes to a conclusion of her thoughts. She'll train herself more, so she can remember her spells which can be beneficial against anymore enemy invasions.

Methras flies through the lair, taking no notice to any creatures along the way. She stops at the Hatchery to grab a bite. She spots one chicken and stares at it, the chicken stares back before it starts to run. Methras grabs it with one of her spidery limbs and uses her magic to turn it into a little plate of cooked chicken. She scarfed down the small meal she made for herself, and almost left the Hatchery till she noticed a passed out demon spawn. Methras cocks a brow as she stared at the passed out Demon Spawn, feathers from the unfortunate chickens that fell prey to this fierce creature laying around its mouth. Methras didn't wish to get near the creature, else it may eat her like the chickens.

Quickly taking her leave, Methras returns to the training room. Despite how bored she may get, she'll need as much of her power back as possible. She takes a lone training dummy near the entrance, and just starts to punch it repeatedly, her spidery limbs joining in from time to time.

    Groogo

"Professional farting in the training room..." Groogo groaned, annoyed by what Tesonu said. Groogo rubs his forehead as he waits at the entrance of the Scavenger's Room, waiting for a certain witch to walk by... It was then Groogo realized that she might be busy researching. Groogo facepalms, annoyed by his simple thoughts, as Groogo just leaves for now. If she and he will meet, it'll be at another time when she isn't busy.

Groogo returns to the crowded lair, and manages to not freeze his ass on the frozen mushroom again. He manages to get through the crowded lair much better than last time, adjusting to it. Groogo drags himself past the Dungeon Heart Chamber, into the hatchery. He felt his instinct to just start chowing down... No, no! Groogo shakes his head before using the broken pillar piece to block the hatchery from his sight... Which also unfortunately blocked the passed out demon spawn in the middle of the room as he dragged himself through a door and came to face a door right in front of him... With the familiar sound of training dummies being brutally slaughtered within. A sound Groogo hasn't heard in a long time, as he dragged himself within...

Groogo would've been surprised to see the amount of creatures training, if he didn't take a through peek through the lair. He decides to give the creatures some room from the 'big smelly bile demon' that he was, and picked a secluded spot in the training room from the other.

The training dummy stared at Groogo, a mocking lifeless stare, daring Groogo to hit him.
Come on, you can't hurt me you stupid bile demon! You're too weak! It seemed to mock him. Groogo lifts the 'Pillar Club' and slaps the training dummy silly with it. The training dummy isn't laughing now!

Suria grumbles and growls, slowly starting to stir from her deep sleep. Approaching the waking world, the blue Demon Spawn becomes more and more aware of what's going on around her along with that constant poking. Not even awake yet and already Suria is in a bad mood from this consistent, poking, annoyance. Peck peck peck peck, nothing but consecutive pecking!

Suria's eyes slam open, her nose twitching as she glares at a retarded looking chicken in front of her. It pecks her nose again. Suria's eye starts to twitch uncontrollably. Such a pecking prick... and it does it again! Suria's eyes narrow with great irritation as she bites down.

One more time, just one more time... Watch what happens...

The chicken stands up straight, looking around at the surrounding area like its trying to mind its own business. It hesitates so, because it knows what will happen to it if it pecks Suria again. The chicken wants to look so innocent, looking about the area like all the other helpless little chickens, but Suria isn't about to buy its crap. She sees right through it for the bastard pecking son of a bitch that it is.

The chicken suddenly turns and pecks Suria's nose.

With a powerful and terrifying roar combined with an incredible burst of movement, Suria immediately returns to her feet and pounces forward. The chicken bawks and leaps back, flapping its wings desperately to escape the beast that it unknowingly awakened. Suria pursues after the fleeing chicken in a race that lasts almost a fraction of a second. The blue Demon Spawn quickly catches the chicken and keeps one claw over it to keep it firmly on the ground. As brief as the chase was, the two of them did manage to escape Hatchery soil.

The chicken squirms beneath the weight and force of Suria's claw as she effortlessly keeps him in place. All the chicken wants now is freedom, but its too late to beg for that. The punishment for pecking the Suria is death by consumption. Suria is not even hungry. That doesn't even matter to her at this point. This is not about food, it is about justice and vengeance: mostly the latter. Suria smiles as her mouth cracks open, showing the sharpness of her fangs as she prepares to bite the chicken's head off. Suria lowers her head as the chicken frantically continues to squirm and squiggle out of Suria's grasp. It's too late for that.

Suria goes all the way as she dives for the chicken's head when he suddenly explodes in blood and feathers. Some of it shoots directly in Suria's eyes, causing her to fall back and cover her eyes in pain while rolling around the floor while whining a bit. She eventually comes to a stop, then looks about again to see the remains of the chicken that exploded. "What the hell was that!?" she asks, mostly to herself. Little does Suria realize that the chicken stayed out of the Hatchery for too long, causing it to forcefully explode only to be reborn as another chicken on Hatchery soil.

After a short while, Suria decides to forget about the chicken and tries to remember what she was doing before. At that very moment, Suria suddenly realizes that a Payday passed by. Not just any Payday, but a Double Payday! All this time, Suria has not taken more of Tesonu's gold! All this time, her own Treasury stood inadequate, less than what it could be! No more! Suria races off to the Treasury to correct this problem.

Suria arrives at the Treasury, ready to steal all of Tesonu's hard earned gold. She briefly wonders just how much she is allowed to take, but then dismisses the thought almost entirely. She's freaking Suria; she can take whatever she wants. Scanning throughout the Treasury, Suria finds a super shiny box that looks even more grand than the one at her Lair. Not only is the treasure chest a bit larger and looking even more full of shinies, but the chest itself is quite finely decorated and has all sorts of jewelry hanging around it. There are decorative, gold weapons sticking out of the chest with rubies attached to them as they sparkle in the torchlight. Suria's eyes light up as she stares at the box. It's clearly the shiniest box of them all. It literally has Suria's name printed on the top.

Suria casually walks over to the box then grabs both sides of it. With great effort, Suria heaves and proceeds to ever so slowly drag the the shining treasure chest out of Tesonu's Treasury and towards Suria's own Lair. The box is quite heavy for Suria, understandably so as it contains ~13.6% of Tesonu's current wealth. Still, Suria should be able to move this damn thing with greater ease. She doesn't understand why the treasure chest is so difficult to drag about, but it doesn't matter. Suria claims an astounding 3276 gold for her own well deserved double Payday. She's taking it all home to her Lair.

Finally returning to home sweet hell, Suria sets her brand new treasure box right next to her bed. She breathes heavily after the exhausting effort, unsure as to why she feels so drained from a simple task. Already she wants to pass out again, but then she doesn't want to go to sleep. She wants to kill stuff! Suria forces herself to remain standing, though she sways back and forth uneasily. She looks over towards the rest of the Lair and sees her other, much smaller treasure box as its been thrown onto the floor with its contents spilled by a careless bandit. Suria's eyes narrow as she forces herself to move forward and to start picking up the pieces.

Looking at her first treasure chest, Suria notices that it actually does look smaller than what she remembers. Did it shrink? Or maybe... is she growing? Yes, that must be it. She's getting fat because she ate so many of those stupid chickens. Stupid pecking chickens. That must be why her belly aches so and why she feels so nauseous and dizzy. Suria hates chickens. That's why she must feast upon them: to make an example to keep the rest in line.

After finally restoring her original box to its former glory, Suria looks up at the ceiling. Staggering a bit, she calls up to Tesonu, "Hey! You, Keepers! Give me something to kill! I want to kill! I'm... I'm hungry!! Feed me Tesonu!!" Why does her belly suddenly feel empty out of nowhere? She just ate like, a... some big number of chickens. No wonder she's so damn fat. It's a vicious cycle. She's going to eat like a...n even bigger number of enemies. Then she's going to get fatter. Then she's going to eat even more! And it goes back to the start again! But Suria has to break the cycle if she's ever to...

With a powerful roar from her belly, Suria growls herself as she mutters while stuttering about the Lair, "Screw... that... Need... food... flesh... meat... Feed me Tesonu!!"

"blah blah blah good work creatures something something get back to work beep boop beep you're still sexy Tali etc etc etc big boobs Nalina cough"

Tali listens to Tesonu's words very carefully while still holding onto the decapitated head of the strongest Tentacle she could find on the escort mission. While most of the Tentacles fell easily, this one managed to force Tali's personal engagement by freezing their spider woman, Nalina... or Nagina; Tali can't quite remember. It doesn't really matter though, for what is more important is Master Tesonu. Taking the most formal a stance that she can think of, Tali finally replies to Tesonu, "I understand, Master Tesonu! I hope to have proven myself worthy and valuable as your most loyal servant ever! I am not just a clumsy Dim Knight who trips and falls on her mistress repeatedly in the bedroom Lair! I shall continue to serve you forever, till death do we part!"

Pausing momentarily, Tali suddenly realizes the flaw of what she just said. She jumps, attempting to correct herself to avoid angering her master, "No, no! Not even in death! I mean, even in death! Yes! Not even death shall separate our lovely loyalty and bonding of foreverness and I shall serve you for all eternity!" Tali stands still, feeling uneasy and wildly uncomfortable as she considers that perhaps she is coming on too strong. In a much more timid voice, Tali speaks again, "U-Unless you don't... want me to...? Or if I do something to make you upset that makes it so that I do not deserve to be in your wicked presence... then... in that case, I'm sorry Master Tesonu! I will repent for my sins-er-errors in the way of sin! I will do my best to make you forever happy as the conqueror of all the shiny, goodie dwellers and champion of all evils so that no one can rival your power and um... Please don't be mad at me...?"

Tali pauses again before she jumps as she remembers something that she had somehow totally forgotten up until now despite it being in her left hand the whole time. Tali lifts up the Tentacle head as she talks in an excited voice, "Oh! I got you a present, see!? It's the head of the strongest Tentacle I could find on the escort! Only for you, my evil and dastardly Master! I just..." Tali makes a solid blink to go along with her next awkward pause. She feels like she's on the verge of remembering something else... something also quite important... She suddenly perks up again, recalling the real reason why she got the head to begin with, "Oh, now I remember!" Tali takes an awkward step back, joined by a bow, before she speaks nervously, "I will decorate your filthy and evil chambers of the Dungeon Heart with this head as soon as I use it to cure my Mistress of her curse... I will not keep you waiting, I promise!"

Tali immediately turns and bolts out of the Heart Chamber, or she would have had she not tangled her own legs together through during her turning motion before crashing straight into the ground. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, she didn't actually slam her face into the ground. Instead, Tali's head lands on the Tentacle head, which she also dropped during the fall. It's an incredibly repulsive feeling, to have such a slimy thing attached to her face. As soon as she realizes what happened, Tali gets up and wipes her face as clean as she can make it while muttering to herself, "Eww... it's all slimy... Tentacles are gross!"

Tali shakes her head, reminding herself of her purpose. Tali picks up the slimy piece of Tentacle flesh, although with a bit of difficulty, then sprints out of the Heart Chamber and heads straight for the Lair, "I'm coming, Mistress Valir-aaahhh!!"

Tali trips over one of the Lairs by the entrance and crashes into another Lair.

Valira continues to drift endlessly in this strange, dream world. She has no clue where she is or what she is doing there. Is she anywhere at all? It's almost like she's drifting through timeless, empty space, where none of these things even matter. All she knows is that she can feel it... she can feel pain. It is so wonderful. Rarely does she ever feel anything at all, but none of those times are quite like this one. Never before has she felt pain so intensely and in this specific fashion: pain not in her body, but pain in her heart.

Valira endures this pain with bliss. Her chest constantly hurts like never before with this strange, aching feeling. She wants to reach up and grab hold of her heart, but her arms are both stiff and disobey her every whim. Part of her wants to die; she feels like she'll just suddenly roll over and die because of this puzzling feeling of pain. Unfortunately, she doesn't, as she continues to drift aimlessly, without direction.

Then... there are those eyes again... Little, bright, green, and almost childlike eyes. Valira sees them and that strange pain stirs up within her heart. What is it? What is it about those green eyes that give her such feelings of pain? What is it about those sorrowful eyes that enables Valira to feel at all? Valira seeks an answer, but she knows that nowhere will she find one. It will slip away from her as it always does, and head somewhere deep into the depths of this endless, timeless, empty space. Where? She does not know outside of it being outside of her grasp.

Valira suddenly feels something else... something slimy and sticky against her. It is a distant feeling that she remotely acknowledges, but the more she tries to pay attention to this feeling, the more everything else slips away. Slowly realizing that the unique feeling of pain is fading away from her, Valira tries to cling to it. She tries so desperately, but before she knows it, it's already gone. Perhaps Valira should be sad that this feeling managed to get away from her, seemingly again; perhaps she didn't try hard enough. None of it really feels like it matters anymore. Again, she is wrapped in emptiness, with only the vague feeling of what touches her flesh.

Valira steadily opens her eyes as she finally wakes, being greeted with another pair of bright, green eyes. Her coffin is open and Tali is standing over her, appearing to be rubbing something against Valira; it appears to be a tentacle after being cut off from its host body. Realizing that she's awake, Tali happily greets Valira, "Mistress Valira! You're finally awake! So it worked after all!" Valira looks down at the tentacle as it sits on her chest, "This...?" "Yes! It's the head of a Tentacle I found," Tali explains, her expression becoming more of uncertainly as she progresses "It's supposed to be apart of a ritual to rub this head against you to scare away the curse placed upon you by that horrible Tentacle... but I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do. I wasn't sure if I was doing it right." Tali suddenly brightens again, "But it did work so everything's alright!"

Valira stares blankly at Tali, void of any real expression or emotion. Perhaps she is meant to feel pleasant or warm somehow because of Tali's efforts despite her ignorance, yet she just feels nothing at all. Valira continues to stare into Tali, unnervingly cold, almost like a corpse. Tali starts to look rather uneasy and immediately asks, "Are you not pleased, my Mistress?" With lowered, bored and uninterested eyes, Valira idly and blankly answers, "I'm fine, Tali." Tali starts to look incredibly nervous as she looks around, trying to find something to say, "Um... well uh... Mistress Valira..."

As Tali continues to mumble, Valira starts to ignore her and looks away. She feels the vague desire to return to her sleep and to regain that feeling, whatever it was like. As she is now, Valira doesn't really care for anything nor does she want to deal with anything. Is it some form of bitterness? Valira isn't quite sure, as whenever she tries to look within herself, she sees and feels nothing. She doesn't even want to be around Tali now. No, especially now she feels like staying away from Tali. She isn't even sure what drives her to such feelings. Are they even feelings?

A loud, screechy voice suddenly interrupts Valira's thoughts, "Feed me Tesonu!!" Valira idly looks over to the speaker, finding a large, blue Demon Spawn sitting a fair distance away from her in the Lair. Valira then hears Tali speak up again, "Oh, that reminds me! Tesonu is having another mission! We're going to hunt the last of those wretched Tentacles! I was thinking you could come with me... if you want, of course... I um..." Valira slowly turns towards her with her same, uninterested and unfocused eyes, striking silence in Tali. Without anything else to do, she might as well. Valira carelessly answers, "Whatever." Tali starts to mumble nervously again, uncertain about something but Valira doesn't really care what it is right now.

Valira lifts herself up and climbs out of her coffin. She immediately starts heading out of the Lair and Tali follows. After a little bit, Tali suddenly asks, "M-Mistress Valira? Where... um... where are you going? M-Master Tesonu is this way." Valira turns to her slowly and answers, "...The Guard Room... That is where... these missions are organized..." Valira starts to move forward again but then Tali asks another question, "Sh-Shouldn't we tell Tesonu?" It is not at all necessary. Dungeon Keepers are omniscient to what is going on in their dungeon. Still, if Tali feels it's necessary and if it gives Valira some time without her, then she can go to the Heart Chamber. Without looking back, Valira answers back, "...Then you go tell Tesonu."

Valira continues onward, leaving Tali behind as she moves towards the Guard Room.

A storm of power suddenly brews up within the Graveyard. Through traces of intense and focused magical power summon by Tesonu's Inferno spell, the fried Tentacle corpses call forth a Vampiric entity like no other. Valkurath, a Vampire of many titles, takes form within and rises from the coffin at the center of the Graveyard. He takes a look at his hands, then takes in his entire body as a smirk suddenly spreads across his face, "I'm alive again! ...In a matter of speaking." The Vampire looks around, identifying his location and current situation, "Ah, another Dungeon Keeper to serve. I hope this one is better than the last. Wouldn't want to 'die' again. That would be pretty embarrassing."

In black robes, Valkurath strides forward as he searches for the Dungeon Heart. With the Graveyard being close by, it doesn't take him long to enter the Heart Chamber. Valkurath does acknowledge a lonely looking, female Black Knight as he passes who along the way, who appears to have just returned from a heavy battle given both the condition of her flesh and armor. Entering the Heart Chamber, Valkurath takes it upon himself to kneel before his new master for a moment as apart of a formal introduction.

After returning to his feet, Valkurath speaks, "Greetings, Keeper. I am Valkurath, Vampire of the ancients, hunter of other Vampires, a true Immortal among my kin, blah blah blah... whatever. Listen, prove your power and I will prove my own as we use each other to satisfy our own needs. Let's not do any of this unnecessary formal crap and beating around the Elf or bush or whatever it's supposed to be. Now that that's settled... who are you, exactly? I've heard rumors around the underworld of a few brainwashed Keepers in these parts, but I don't see any Heroes around here. Unless that's a wannabe badass Knight out there that colored her armor black because she thinks its cool."

Turning his head, Valkurath suddenly finds out that said Black Knight is actually standing right behind him. With a casual expression, he says, "Oh, hey. How's it going? A bit rude to be eaves dropping, don't you think? You're kind of cute for a mortal anyways so no hard feelings. You got this white hair thing going. It's all the rage in the land below the ground under the ground."
