Thread: Major Vsync Issue?

    Default Major Vsync Issue?

For some reason when in fullscreen, I get this bad tearing issue, but when I play in windowed mode I do not get this issue, when playing in windowed mode though the games window would not be in the center of the screen and moving the window would snap it to the bottom of the desktop rendering it unplayable, does anyone know a fix to this? Note: This is on Windows 10

I don't know, but I remember somebody having the same issue just a few days ago.

What causes it to become unplayable when snapped to the bottom of the screen? Even if you use full-resolution in windowed mode? (e.g. 1280x1024w32)
Which version of the game are you using? Make sure to either use 0.4.6 or 0.4.6u.
Have you tried forcing the Video driver to 'windib'? (use the launcher)

You are amazing Windib worked <3 cheers man, it was 0.4.6 as for the windowed aspect, even using the max resolution, it would clip half of the window to the bottom of the screen, so you couldn't see half of the game

    I have the same issue.
My game is running on a windows 10 64bit, fully updated, fresh amd/ati system.

setting to directx shows the same picture. setting to windib it lags in emnu and the mouse runs sometimes to fast.
and its fixed to the lowest resolution, cant change it.

having and amd (8 core, 4ghz each) and a radeon r9 380 graphics card.

    Well, both should work.

Run dxdiag, which version of directx do you have installed?
Which version of the game are you playing?
What happens when you run it in windowed mode?
Please share your keeperfx.cfg file, and after you played your game and tried to switch between resolutions, share your keeperfx.log file as well.

if I play it in window mode, I can not drag the window, but the resolution changed and the window is half out the screen

coult it be that the game have issues with ati graphics? I have testet it on my laptop with intel and nvidia chipset and works great

Not ati graphics in general. It must be something specific, because for the fast majority of people it simply works and has for ages.
