Crossbowman seem a bit too much like archer in idea but saying that I do like the look of the crossbowman. Maybe make him slow (walking speed). Also maybe change his appearance so he's slightly plumper than the archer. Just to further seperate the two.

The main differences from the archer:

    • Slower (both walking and attacking)
    • Crossbowman got more armor

Apart from that, yes I would say the crossbowman looks similair on the Archer, but I think the crossbowman would make an ideal defensive unit because of these differences. I've changed it he's more slower now.

    Ps: What does pluper means??

Sounds to me like a good fit in for the Heroes.

I don't really see any problems with him.

I'd give him heavy armour. Or medium at least.

    I would change:

Attack to medium - The short heavy bolts were designed to do heavy armor piercing damage.

Accuracy to medium - Firing a crossbow gives a slight kickback, just like a gun wich screwes up your aiming. ( i have one at home )

Range to 2/3 of archer's - The bolts are short and heavy wich doesn't make them very good fliers.

You have crossbow at home and write "The bolts are short and heavy wich doesn't make them very good fliers."

They are excellent fliers! A short, heavy bolt gains great velocity due to a powerful shot that the mechanical crossbow provides. Plus, again, due to its heaviness it is less influenced by the wind in flight. Dont forget the draw power that the bolt gains thanks to the mechanism.

There is practically no difference in range between the two.

He's wielding chainmail armor. That offers less protection compared to plate armor but makes him more mobile!

The damage is about his melee damage. Remember that ''strength'' is set apart from abilities.

I have a crossbow aswel at home (for decoration purposes, mainly ) so I know what I'm talking about. True it has recoil but it still can inflict large damage!

Forgot about the range! Thanks for that one.
