could they act as map revelers or even better: increase the income of creatures
The list of appearances is awesome although might I suggest 2 more evil specials just for equal representation.
A hand similair to te hand of evil with a chest on the palm maybe and a massive pile of bones with an upright skeleton with a knights helmet on his head.
This idea although not quite finished is shaping up to be one of my favourites.

I like this idea since it would bring more secondary objectives, but would they be in campaign and in multiplayer or in just one of them?
could we have an unlockable menu to show what trophies you have previously earned
Trophy Specials would appear in some Multiplayer Maps but there might be special ones that only appear in campaigns. Trophy menu sounds nice but how would it work? I've seen some nice ones.

These seem more like idols/statues etc. Rather than 'trophy's.
Perhaps the trophy's should remain researched even when captured, it adds a nicer tactical gain if you took over an enemy keepers' researched-trophy.
Perhaps building a room that connected to a trophy would gain some form of secondary bonus for that room.
-A temple would improve the mana gain or happiness gain.
-A library the spells would be researched faster
-A treasury it would generate a small income of gold of 50 gold pieces per 10 seconds; if imps put gold in this treasury the room generates a 15% and allows the treasury to store more gold per tile.
Considering the trophy's cannot be moved and there would have to be enough space by them; even if you did build a room next to it, you still run the risk of it being captured by the enemy keeper.
