    I come here every few days looking for a scrap of Nether info, seeing a goblin walk out of a sweet portal and around a dimly lit dungeon counts for me!

    Hahah, well we're trying to get things to a point where tehre's more exciting things to talk about, i can barely scrape together anything interesting to post anywhere but i might have something today, bit of an upgrade on this.

    Its jsut that most things are important but under the hood developments that arent very outwardly exciting, or atleast i dont think people would find them such. Not much use in telling people "oh we've made this and this tweak to AI that allows creatures not to be -complete- dullards, now we have to make them not be dullards at all" :P

    I think you underestimate what people find interesting. If you just say 'we changed something so creatures are a bit less dumb', yes, that's non-information. If you get technical instead, and show a short before and after video of the implemented code, there are people that will hang on your every word. And there are people who'll just skip the 'technical updates', but that's just fine. Believe it or not, people following game developers have an above-average interest in the nitty-gritty of game development.
