Can’t open launcher

I couldn’t get any of the cheat menus to come up, ( I was using the Easter egg option in Launcher), so I reinstalled KeeperFX and the alpha patch, but now I can’t get the launcher to open (it says ‘this program uses Unicode and requires Windows NT/200/XP”)

To which alpha did you update and which version of windows are you using? If you copy over launcher.exe from the full version (so 0.4.7U without alpha) does that one still work for you?

Never mind, for some reason it wouldn’t work last night, but it’s working fine now

ok, good.

It seems this error is something you get when you're either playing on Windows 98 without unicode enabled, or are running the launcher in Win98 compatibility mode.
