Don't know what to tell you. I did not hide a virus in it on purpose, and my scanners don't find anything wrong in either the my local copy or what I downloaded. And a few others tried too without issues. You could try to download a new copy, see if you find it there. Download older versions, see if you get the same warning. Update your virus scanner and try again.
I have no problems when downloading version 2303, i only get it when downloading the latest version.
Did an update on the virusscanner and got the same warning.

I've had the same issue as you. I go to the website and clicked on the exclamation mark of the website where you download from. The location is left on the URL of the website.. Via that way i have accepted it that i can download it. Now i can play the latest alpha build without any issues.
For now; great update. really like it! Especially the fast build mode changing the aspect of the game.
Last alpha had a bug, so here's a release that fixes that and introduces some new stuff: Alpha 2326.

I realized I had Chinese translations laying around for too long. Alpha 2333.
What's new:
- Included 'The lost levels'
- New script commands:
- RANDOMISE_FLAG([player],[flag],[max value]) -> can be used to do true random
- On USE_SPELL_ON_CREATURE you can now use the ANY_CREATURE variable- Flying units drop at a reasonable speed now
- All the maps in the Classic and Standard level packs are now translatable
- Chinese translations added for these levels
