Posession not working / glitchy

hello, i play the gog version of dungeon keeper 2 and have noticed when i try to go into possession mode on creatures it stutters and takes time to turn the screen and just is awful gameplay. i wonder if there is a fix for this? or if there is something i can do to fix it. thank you, hopefully someone can help

Editing config.ini SingleCore=0 worked for me, using DKII.exe with GIM.

Or if on DKII-DX you can alt-tab, open task manager and go to details, set DKII-DX's affinity to all cores or more than 1.
