Spawn new creature/hero

When using the in-game cheat menu, is there a way to add in an option to spawn a certain creature?

I know you can start a level with a certain creature/hero by editing the level configuration files but that is a pain and you have to do that for each level. And I know about the ‘place random hero’ on the menu

It would be cool to have an option to choose the ‘place hero’ option, then a sub menu that lists the creatures to choose from, and then maybe another menu for thier levels)

Is this possible? Maybe in keeper FX version 5.0

If you're using an alpha, you can use the console to create whichever creature you want, of whatever level you want, belonging to whomever you want, and however many you want. You can also specify the owner of creatures created via the menu by holding a numpad key.

Thanks but it’s still only giving me an option to ‘ ‘Place random hero‘
How would I go about choosing a specific creature?
PS I do like the idea of downgrading creatures (like enemies )

Press enter to open the console, then type the commands from the link I posted above. For example: !create.creature fly 3

thanks, but that doen't seem to work.....I type that in and nothing happens

I was originaly wondering if it would be possible to add it to in-game pop-up menu when you hit enter (not the console) (where you see the other cheats, like palce tunneler, create gold, etc)

No, it won't be added to the cheat menu. Typing it does work, if it doesn't for you, you're doing something wrong. Be sure to have the -alex param enabled and type is exactly like that, including an '!'. You need to see the text too.
