Cannot Lock doors in Adikted

Hello. Newbie here.

I am trying to make some new levels in DK Gold. I have created one new map, and it is working well but I cannot seem to lock any doors I have placed.

It says in the instructions to hit the tab key, and whilst the door is highlighted, press the 1 key. I have tried pressing the 1 key at the top of the keyboard, and pressing the 1 key in the numpad, both with the numlock turned on and off, but still the door remains unlocked.

I am probably missing something obvious, and would appreciate it if someone can set me right.

OK that has now been solved. Quite simply, it is lower case L to press, and not the letter 1.

However, a new problem has developed. I was trying to change the window size and I have inadvertently removed the tab headings, including the "x" to close the programme (see attached image). Now I cannot get it back and the only way to close Adikted is to use the task manager and end task, which is not ideal.

I have tried removing everything, re-starting the computer, and downloading Adikted again, but still no tab headers, and I cannot even move the Adikted window.

I am stumped. Can anyone help please?

Have you heard of Unearth? Most people prefer that editor nowadays.

But try Ctrl+Shift+P

That worked. I was then able to open the settings Json file and change LaunchMode from "focus" to "default"

Is Unearth easier to use than Adikted? I will try to find it and give it a go.

Unearth is a lot easier to use compared to Adikted.
