I’ve noticed a load of new ones in the latest alpha.
They are placeholders. It's nice to say, have all trap translations together, and it's basically impossible to move translation strings around. So if I add a trap at the end today, and next week a new creature, then another gui button string, it will be all mixed up because the trap after that will still be at the end again. If I add a trap and 3 moos, I can remove a moo each time I add a new trap string.

Aah okay thanks. I wondered if they hd any significance, cause I already had strings upto 1065 when this new update came out. So I wanted to make sure it’ll be fine that the moo7s from 1044 tp 1049 could stay what I have them as.

    thanks.

If you're making a custom campaign, best to overwrite the string id's from the original campaign objective messages.

Oh no, I have multiple creatures and objects that I've added from the workshop, who's text id was either gibberish or a generic ID. So I made string values for them and set them to their creatures/objects. To save me having to put them into every pack I own.(which is 25)

Just adding to the cacophony of thanks and congratulations on this amazing achievement. I didn't know this was happening until I saw a YouTube video on it pop up on my feed last week.

I never played the original, but I played DK2 to death for years until it appeared to stop working on modern GPUs or Windows or something. Oh, seems it works now, reinstalled from GoG.
