    I have the same problem, crashing on using the spell Heal.

    There doesn't seem to be any option to turn off SDL Video Driver anymore. I tried the DPI compatibility fix.

    Any ideas?

    Which version are you using, this is a topic for 0.4.8, which is old.
    On 1.0.0 this issue should be fixed. Please do a clean installation of 1.0.0 if you are on an older version. If it is not fixed in 1.0.0 for you, update 1.0.0 to the latest alpha. If it still crashes there, post your log file and we'll see.

    Yes, what Watler says should help. It is a 4k resolution crash we have already fixed in the alphas.

    Ok I have updated to alpha but couldn't load my save. I'll try to update when I get back to where I have the heal spell to try out.

    Sorry, that's right. You can use cheats to get back to where you were.

    I've researched the heal spell now and the bug is not there in the Alpha version. Thanks for helping out.
