I'm sorry, point being?
Nooo goblins is a MUST! Who else die so fun and so quickly? =DDD
Well, I just thought to many creatures would be un balanced. I mean, we can't bring in EVERYONE and the new creatures at the same time, think of how big that dungeon would be.
And I just used goblins as an example, we MIGHT not have to take it out.
I think the question that first needs addressing is what creatures should we introduce, and that needs to be thought over carefully. To be honest, not a single suggestion has really had me that impressed so far. It's really difficult coming up with good ideas that fit into what DK already is.
Well, true, we do need to try to get the new creatures first, but after words, we need to open a few spots. What spots do we open is the question?
Flies make excellent scouts. If you're a kitty-cat and try to fortify yourself away from the underworld then you don't deserve to have anything but flies.
In my opinion creatures that could be removed straight away are beetles, tentacles, and rogues; for me at least I don't really feel like they fit in. Others like dark elves and black knights i think could stay, but could do with some revision.
I strongly disagree with that, with the rogue as exception. The dark elves and black knights are to me the creatures that don't fit in DK, they are merely a evil counterpart to the elven archer and knight respectively. I might even want to add that DK3 creatures need to be more based on DK1 ones, more fiendish and demonic. DK2 was way to focused on humans-like creatures and lacking in any way creativity on that area. I might want to push it further to say that new creatures need to be done on the drawing table, that's how the Horned Reaper and Bile Demon were for example born!
Sorry if if this issen't the right place to discuss this but I just wanted to express my thoughts, whatever relevant or not.
