Problems using KeeperFX on MacOS (game bought on Gog)

Hi,

I bought the game on gog.com (Dungeon Keeper Gold™), I installed Homebrew/Wine etc so I could install KeeperFX. However, whenever I try to direct KeeperFX to the right files it says that a couple of files are missing;

./data/bluepal.dat
./data/bluepall.dat
./data/dogpal.pal
./data/hitpall.dat
./data/lightng.pal
./data/redpal.col
./data/redpall.dat
./data/slab0-0.dat
./data/slab0-1.dat
./data/vampal.pal
./data/whitepal.col

./sound/atmos1.sbk
./sound/atmos2.sbk
./sound/bullfrog.sbk

I've also tried the method of finding the game.gog file and extract it (https://keeperfx.net/wiki/launcher-application), however. The files are not in this Keeper folder either. Is there anything else I should try? Or is this common with the game from gog and should I just buy another.

I managed to fix it, if someone else ever has te same problem: GOG makes you install the macOS version by default. Download the windows version and install it with wine. Then you do get the right files

Well, I installed the gog version on windows and just ran keeperfx launcher and played the game for a while like usual.

Then I copied keeperfx folder to my m1 Macbook air. I installed whisky (it is a gui for wine I think. I used it because I didn't know how to use wine) I copied keeperfx folder into the wine and started the game. The menu showed up! I was very enthusiastic to be able to play it on my Mac! However when I started a game it became unresponsive and very slow.

Any suggestions?
